CA-L2 Teacher Training Application for 2025

Thank you for your continued interest in Teacher Training! We are excited you’re ready to take your training to the next level and are honored you chose Cirque Athletics to continue your aerial education.

Requirements:

  • must have attended and passed the CA-L1 course

  • minimum of 3-4 years of aerial silk experience to apply for CA-L2


A video submission is not required as part of this application.

However, specific skills may be requested by Katie for approval.

CA-L2 Terms & Conditions

1) Upon acceptance to the program, a single payment of $900 USD or 3 payments of $325 USD is required to reserve your spot. Due to the limited number of spots in each course, payment for the teacher training program is NON-REFUNDABLE or TRANSFERABLE.

2) Cirque Athletics maintains specific criteria and codes of conduct and holds the right of refusal and/or has the authority to deny approval necessary for any individual applicant or group of applicant(s).

3) Duplication of the CA-L2 course formula in any form, by any means, or by intention is strictly prohibited. Cirque Athletics holds inalienable rights 'of and to' all instructable course materials, visual or written. Any violation of structured Cirque Athletics formulas is punishable to the maximum extent possible by law.

4) Certification Guidelines: Aerialists will receive a CA-L2 from Cirque Athletics upon passing all written, teaching, skills assessments and providing a First Aid & CPR certificate (can be completed online).

  • If an aerialist does not pass the first time around, they will be given one year to submit a video or requested materials for a review fee of $50 USD.

  • Attendees who receive a CA-L2 certification must follow and stay up to date on safety guidelines, techniques, protocols and teach from a place of integrity. For this reason, certifications are valid for two years with an option for renewal.

  • Being a teacher comes with responsibility and automatically puts you in a leadership role in the eyes of the Cirque Athletics community. It's important that you present yourself, share and teach with the utmost attention to safety and respect for your students and peers.

5) If an unforeseen circumstance or force majeure event would prevent a course from taking place, Cirque Athletics will hold your course tuition as a credit toward a future course.
